It’s great, I gave my older one to my friend because she needed it to shave her cat. The only reason I didn’t take it back is because after helping her get Milkshake’s (the cat) sanitary area… I decided to just get a brand new one.My dog is a Maltese poodle mix, it kinda sucks to cut thick matted hair but it does the job and I’ve never nicked him. It’s no cut thanks to the ceramic blade and I’ve put it against my skin before ever trying to mess with my rambunctious dog, or my friends fighty feline.

The clippers aren’t the sharpest but it’s a good tool for little things like shaving paw pads and touch ups. Wouldn’t really recommend them for full body shaves. It also does catch on fur so it’s a bit uncomfortable for the pup. It’s a good first cheap set to try practice until you get a better one

These clippers are awesome! I’ve never really used dog clippers before and I just couldn’t pay $100-$150 bucks to take my dog to the groomers in this economy, so these clippers came in clutch!! Easy to use, attachments fit great (although I wish it came with more sizes) the battery life was exceptional, I forgot to charge them before I used them and they still lasted the entire groom (about an hour) they cut evenly and cleaned up nicely! The blade never got hot and they were quiet enough to not spook my dog. Made my pooch look like he just came from the groomers!

I got these clippers as a replacement set when my old ones from a different brand had become dull. The old clippers terrified my standard poodle puppy as we tried to shave his face. These clippers are so much quieter, he was immediately not afraid of the noise and we were able to safely shave his face and paws. The clippers themselves are very comfortable to hold and work very nicely on my poodle’s curls. He’s 3 months old and his coat is still quite soft.I use the 1.4mm setting on his face, feet and sanitary areas. White poodles are known for getting clipper irritation when you shave short but on this setting I haven’t noticed an issue on my parti poodle’s feet which are mostly white.Overall I think you can’t go wrong with these clippers, they’re really nice especially for the price.

I recently purchased the Sminiker Dog Clippers Grooming Kit and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This kit is perfect for grooming my dogs at home. The clippers are cordless and rechargeable, so I don't have to worry about finding an outlet or getting tangled in cords. The clippers are also very quiet, which is great for dogs that are afraid of loud noises. The kit comes with a variety of different blade attachments, which makes it easy to adjust to different hair lengths and types. The blades are sharp and cut through hair easily, without pulling or snagging. I also appreciate that the clippers are lightweight and easy to handle.Overall, I would highly recommend the Sminiker Dog Clippers Grooming Kit to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use grooming kit for their pets. It's affordable, efficient, and has everything you need to keep your pets looking their best.

I have an 11-month-old giant schnauzer who I groom every 6 - 8 weeks, so I've used this clipper several times. It does a good job for the price. In terms of its noise level, it sounds about the same as the hair clippers and electric shaver I use for myself, so I wouldn't say it's super-quiet, but it's not loud like a lawn mower. The battery life on a full charge is OK. It lasts about 30 minutes, so I typically plug it into an extension cord for most of my grooming time. Most importantly, it cuts the hair pretty well, but it doesn't do it fast, and herein is my negative feedback. It typically requires 2, 3, or 4 passes over the same area to get all the hair cut to length, and with a large dog, that time adds up. Also, the cutting blade snags occasionally (it doesn't hurt the dog), and it pulls the blade out of alignment ever-so slightly, but it's enough that it won't cut until I shove on the blade back into its proper position. But when your dog is eager to be finished, pausing 4 or 5 times for several seconds becomes very irritating. All in all, it's a decent trimmer, and it's gotten me by for the first year of grooming. It's paid for itself 10 times over at least, but I think I'll upgrade to a nicer model now that my pup isn't a little pup any more.

Package arrived on time and in great shape. All pieces were there, in good shape, and functional. The clipper was even charged, but I plugged it in while I set up my grooming station outside.I have never cut hair on anything, including myself. Neither human nor animal. I watched a couple of YouTube videos. That was the extent of my training. My dog is little, a Malti-poo mix, and rather skittish. She’s never liked going to the groomer. But she was in desperate need of a haircut and the warm weather (soon to be hot) made it imperative. The reviews on this set seemed good...Well, let me just say these clippers worked great! They were easy to maneuver around her little body, and in about 25 minutes, she was trimmed and neat! I used mainly the clippers and a bit of scissors. (I did order a set of scissors and they arrive in a few days for our next beauty appointment!) No cries of pain from man nor beast, no blood, and a ton of hair floating around in the air. Now, don’t get me wrong, this is no dog show level grooming. I see spots I could have done better with. But she is so much happier to have all that hair gone, my wife thinks I’m a genius (of course!), the kids were floored by how cute she looks now, and we can go for our Covid walks without me feeling ashamed my dog looks so ratty, and I don’t have to worry about her overheating. All in all, a great product that feels solid in the hand, is quiet enough a skittish dog didn’t mind them at all, and very easy to operate. It’s already paid for itself! And I know I can keep her hair short all summer long without it costing a day of my time and an arm and a leg of money! A win for all!

I am a dog Groomer and love this clippers, in fact, I would not groom without it! I have purchased name brand small clippers from andis and wahl all are broken when they hit the floor! Not this little baby! she takes all the abuse a grooming salon can hand out!this clipper is also very quiet and I can use it in places that some dogs will freak about like the corners of eyes and to cleanup the inside of ears.I love that u can adjust the blade. the longest adjustment is equal to a 10 blade, I am not a fan of the clip on combs as this clipper is not something I use on a heavy coat..not that kind of power. This is the perfect tool for cutting freshly washed hair. works great on the hair between pads of feet, dog faces and private areas. it/s small enough to reach places u can't reach easily with a regular sized clipper like the tummy.its a tool I would be lost without in my grooming salon. I have several and keep them plugged in as the charge doesn't last over 40 minutes. but like I said, for the price and the durability I love this clipper. Its not something your going to use on a golden doodles body clip but it works great for the areas mentioned above! Get one! You will thank me when it hits the floor for the 5th time and all u need to do is pop the blade and the battery back in!!
