Well, the description says this is to prevent the moisture build up on the car's windshield during the cold weather, and I think this would work great for that. I think I will try that once the weather gets cold. But like most other people, I use this differently.I keep this inside my 3D printer filament enclosure to keep it dry.As I don't have a filament dryer, I occasionally dried it using an oven and it was rather tricky. But with this, just leaving it inside the enclosure seems to work well.I cannot directly compare, but after I put this in the enclosure for few days, the bubbles caused by moisture reduced. After this, the crystals turned somewhat pink, but as I don't know how much pink it has to be before I have to reset, I will leave this for few more days and see how this turns out.For the price, it is very satisfying product.

Not exactly an exciting item, but it's doing its job and keeping the car interior free of excess moisture.I don't know exactly what there is to say here otherwise. The window lets me know that it is picking up some moisture from the air and the lack of frost on the inside of the windshield agrees.

I live in a very damp area so this is great for tossing in the car to regulate the humidity. Sometimes, especially when the sun shines into my car it evaporates water and fogs up the windows. This little bag of silica has solved that. It's a durable bag so it really was designed to hold up in the car. Simple but effective!

I got this for putting in my camera bag - probably overkill but I expect it will do a good job of keeping it dry. It nicely dried my moist test item I enclosed in a sealed space with it and was easy to redry in the oven. My one complaint is that the indicator window has a black background so it's not as easy to see the color of the tinted translucent indicator beads as it would on a white background - good lighting helps somewhat with this. It should perhaps be noted that the color changes halfway through its drying ability rather than toward its saturation.

Does what a desiccant should do - it keeps stuff dry!The 400 gram size is good for larger spaces - like a full size safe, closet, dresser, work cabinet, etc. They say car interiors, though that might be a bit optimistic. Maybe a Smart Car?My biggest complaint is that it doesn't have a grommet or loop to easily hang it up. I've learned that desiccant works best when it has good air flow - so I've dedicated a big metal binder clip to hold this by the edge, so I can hang it. Other than that oversight, it seems to be fine, and the price ($10 as of this review) makes it a solid value.

I am a 3D printer geek and I have a rectangular enclosure with room for my printer, the Bambu A1 Mini plus the AMS multi-filament unit. The only problem is keeping the filament from absorbing moisture while it sits there waiting for my next print run. So, I was searching for a large enough container of desiccant to control the moisture level in my enclosure. This bag is exactly what I needed, a 400g bag of reusable silica gel with a clear indicator window to tell me when it needs to be recharged by heating in the microwave for a few minutes or a 200F oven for an hour. You can even dry it in the sun apparently. It now sits in my printer enclosure, just beneath the AMS unit. Haven't had it very long so I can't say how long it lasts between recharges but for such a large bag and such a small space I am very hopeful. Packaging was extra simple, just a sealed plastic outer bag. Instructions were included with easy directions how to recharge the desiccant in a microwave or oven. Good value too.

Looks like the ‘85 Jodge has a dried up door gasket cuz after recent snow melted off it, the carpet was a bit damp. I have a little bag of small dessicant packs that didn’t look up to the job. Did a quick vacuuming with the shop vac, and got things a tad less soggy to the touch. After cooking the bead pack for an hour or so (it arrived with the beads looking decidedly pinkish/damp/wet) I chucked onto the front seat for a day, then directly on the damp area for another couple days. Seemed to do the trick. Aaand might have to do this all over again if the weather dudes got the forecast right which calls for another half foot of the white stuff due this evening and tomorrow.

Nice, hefty bag of desiccant. Wish the window was a little larger to see inside, but it's good enough. The instructions say to recharge it by putting it in the sun for 3-5 hours, in an oven at 100 degrees for an hour, or use a 600w microwave for 3-5 minutes, 2-3 times....but not to exceed 212 degrees. How am I supposed to measure that???
