I put these in my old '81 Chevy Project truck to add a battery maintainer to protect my new battery. They are not exact replacements as I had to modify the cable ends that attach to the battery.

My 1999 K1500HD Classic (OBS) with the good ol' sidepost Chevy terminals needed some love. With a couple accessories, the stock terminals were a pain. I had a battery fail and jumpstarting was such a huge pain in the ass, that I purchased these when I went to replace the battery. Now I have the add on bolt for accessories, and an easy spot to jump start should I ever need to again. I am very very happy with this purchase and I recommend anyone with GM sidepost terminals to consider these.

I tried 3 different battery posts like these and this design was by far the absolute best. There is enough of the bolt sticking out on the GM plastic connections GM uses on the side post to get a wrench on. Most of these bolts do not have enough to get purchase with a wrench. No problem with these. It's a common size (19mm) which is even better. They're heavier than the other two brands I have and I like the secondary bolt design on these, since it's smaller and less obtrusive, making getting a 19mm wrench on the main part of the bolt that much easier. I'll buy these for all my side post batteries.
