Thought I would make these into windows, nope. Even using tape to create a gripping surface for the screw to enter the plastic is no go. Purchased the 1/2 inch thickness.

Great quality. The protective paper was intact. The cut edges were not mirror polished but were finished with enough quality for most applications.Note that the piece is not exactly 12" by 12". The dimensions are shy of the target by about the thickness of the manufacturer's cutting blade (I do not believe that these are laser cut as the edges showed traces of a round cut).

Dark acrylic cuts well with a laser without any toxic fumes. Looks like solid black plastic. Not transparent. Comes with protective paper on both sides.

Worked great in my Glowforge. Cut very nice. It is a bit translucent which is described in the description of the product. Overall great product

I have an old light box, which is a Logan, now Smith-Victor, model 810/920, 9.5x12.5 inches OD. The plastic top was badly scratched and I wanted to replace it so I could make copies of negatives. I was concerned about the percentage of light transmission seeing that this one says 38% and I didn't really know how to compare that number to the plastic one on my box. However after receiving this acrylic sheet, I will say that its light transmission is identical to my old one. The surface is also perfect - FIXED!

Easy to cut , used 7 1/4” fine plywood saw blade (by Diablo) and I also drilled hole with acrylic drill bit I bought on Amazon. I used silicone and attached the plastic to wood
