it does not take 2 D-cells, they will not fit in the handle. I was able to get 3 C-cells to work, it's not so bright

Where do I start. First it does not take 2 D-cells, they will not fit in the handle. I was able to get 3 C-cells to work. Then on the first use the blue LED’s stopped working. I have 1 out of 4 blue LED bulb that just flashes as it wants too…. No organized pattern….. this would be great if it worked. I really like the steady blue, steady Red and flash red/blue…. The size and weight feel good…. Product just sucks.
