I bought this to caulk some joints on my patio, almost all of them cracked, some have been re- caulked 3 times and still they crack. For a butyl caulk I am not impressed. It was more difficult to apply and takes 24 hours to set up, this you would expect from butyl but the trade off should be a sealer that lasts for years not weeks. The bonding seems good but the product just cracks.

This is a great product for permantly sealing cracks and gaps in a wide range of climates and temperatures. It is VERY sticky and you’ll need to be decent at caulking not to make a mess with this product. The product takes quite a long time to set up and dry so I wouldn’t recomend it in any high traffic area unless you can prevent it from being touched for about a week or so. The end results are fantastic!

Best sealant i've ever found. They don't sell it in stores because it is the best. They want you to buy their junk. everybody had it in the 70s Be careful how you use it, it's permanent

Absolutely love this caulk. It is a little messy and difficult to get off your hands but works great. The tube leaks a bit after the gun is released so some of the material was wasted. It doesn't really set up because it stays flexible. It was ready to dispense once the tip was cut off. That was nice especially when I was up on a 12' ladder and all I had to do was cut the tip and didn't have to pierce a bladder to make the caulk dispense.

Not a butyl rubber sealant, but a normal caulk that never really dries and is not very sticky. I bought a 12 pack because of the Amazon quantity discount, used one tube, spent an hour cleaning the mess (and bought something else to actually do the job) , and threw the rest away -- it was so bad I did not even donate it to H4H.
