Good quality rubber. Feels tough. You do not need any tool to fix it. Just immerse in boiling hot water and keep it for like 5 minutes and fix it carefully by hand, starting from the lower corners, top left then right, let it cool down and you're good to go.

These pedal covers are identical to factory in appearance. They are very easy to install. The underside edges are tapered so the cover just slides on to the metal of the petal. once they are installed there is no slop, no movement to adversely your foot to pedal response. OK, so cover does not slide on pedal and your foot will not slide on pedal cover because of the deep ridges used in this application.
