There was discussion about using this power steering fluid for the NC Miata. I tend to stick to OEM fluids where possible but in my experience Red Line makes good products and this is working just fine in my NC.

i was hoping that a lighter weight fluid might dampen my steering and make it feel stiffer but it's not noticeable. i'll probably continue to use it as i'm sure it's a good quality lubricant and i don't see any reason to unnecessarily add to parasitic drag added by the power steering pump.

My 2000 Camry did not like this fluid. The mfr. calls for ATF fluid, but with this fluid when cold it would make a slight but noticeable whine, not really a whine but a noise that is hard to explain. Once warmed up, it was fine. Replaced the fluid with Dexron II/ III/Mercon ATF fluid and all is back to normal, no more noise when cold.

A flush of this to completely replace the fluid in my Ford OBS completely cured the whining at low rpm. Didn't just make it a better, it went away, just with and oil change!

Works very well, I am pleased with the performance. Flushing my power steering system with this got rid of the hard steering at idle, that quickly returned when I used the regular parts house power steering fluid. I hope this fluid will prevent the hard steering from returning, and I will remove and refill the reservoir with fresh fluid at every oil change because of how hard the flushing process was.
