Your cart is empty.Saral Transfer Paper is wax free transfer paper (also known as graphite paper or tracing paper) made for general and specialized use, which allows you to transfer your design from a sketch, pattern, template or free hand to any surface. It makes clean, crisp tracings that can be erased and painted over. It's great for tole painting, fabric painting, fine arts and watercolor painting, quilting, dress making, commercial and graphic arts, architecture, wood working, ceramics, stained glass, metal working and it's acid-free for scrapbooking. Saral Transfer Paper is wax free so it gives the advantage of erasing like pencil with no smear or smudge. It can be inked or painted over with no skipping or bleeding. The transfer lines can be sponged, washed out or brushed off of fabric, and a hot iron will not set them as will other tracing or transfer papers made for fabrics. Saral is economical and can be used again and again. All Saral transfer papers conform to ASTMD-4236 and are certified by The Art & Creative Materials Institute as non-toxic, so they are suitable for use by children, as well as adults.

Great quality transfer paper.You can make precious lines on wood ,metal,plastic.The red color very well works on black surfaces.

This is perfect for transferring things onto my printmaking blocks. My only complaint is that it smears all over my hands, but it washes off really easily. Note that it doesnt smear the tracing that you did, it just gets all over you and can in turn get on the rest of the surface. It still works good though.

Just finished using my transfer paper for the first time and it worked great! I was transferring a design onto a linoleum block. Some smudging but I think that’s to be expected

I was impressed with the ability of the Saral paper to be used over and over without any impact to the transfer details. I prefer the blue, then the red and I try to avoid the graphite color as it tends to leave a trace that is hard to remove from baked aluminum white panels. The graphite also has a tendency to get mixed with the enamel paint colors like white and it muddies it up. I like having options, so I keep a stock of the red, blue, yellow, white and graphite rolls. I also have the same colors in sheet form. In the image shown here is an example of the graphite on a white panel. I was a bit heavy handed so if you adjust the pressure, you can minimize the amount of graphite dust that gets on the surface. If you look closely, you can see it covering much of the surface, and not just where the pressure was applied.

I do wood burning. This is I great product for this use. This is easy to erase . I tried the red and it was difficult to erase, but the blue is excellent.

I used this transfer paper to transfer lettering onto black chalk paint. I had been using a stencil for the job (I was personalizing an item for a customer for my Etsy shop) prior to that, and I just wasn't happy with that unfinished quality it always has. After exploring my transfer options, I decided to go with this paper because it can be used on colored backgrounds. Trying to transfer letters or images onto dark surfaces with chalk or soft pastels can be difficult because I have to be so careful about smearing, and then I have to spend more money to go out and buy fixtive so that I don't lose my images. Saral paper has been awesome, so far! I went ahead and bought a burnishing tool to use with it, and the first time I lifted the paper off of the paint, I was so happy! There, in bright red and easy to see on my black paint was a perfect transfer of my much more professional looking letters! While painting over my letters, the transfer medium didn't smear or rub off at all. It was very easy. When I was finished, whatever red line I didn't cover with paint, I went back and lightly sanded over. The lettering looked soooo much better than my simple stencils, and I'm so excited to think about the font variety that's opened up to me. Plus, I cut a piece off of the roll of paper that was about 4" x 5", and I can even reuse it over again on other products. This roll's gonna last awhile. I'm so very pleased with this product!

I have purchased this item before but in a much smaller quantity at a much higher price so was happy to be able to buy a much larger size for use. This paper is absolutely necessary when working with darker colours - saves having to copy, cut out pattern and glue it onto the glass for cutting - just trace, outline with a marker and cut with cutters - easy! The red works perfectly on black!

J'ai trouvé ce papier calque excellent pour le fait qu'il ne laisse pas des traces de couleur en dehors du tracé du dessin à calquer.Je le conseil absolument.
