I wanted to see if I could use this over a fire pit to cool. I have a big 4gal pot I set on top of this to boil water as a test. I've used this to successfully boil water over my solo stove bonfire. I also used it to boil water using a small propane burner while camping. It's super sturdy, and came with a nice carrying bag. Great purchase. UPDATE: I love this thing. It's super easy to clean too. Carrying bag is also super helpful.

Although this looks like a grill, I would not cook food directly on it. This is more suitable for using to cook with cook ware over a fire. It is a bit small for multiple pots or pans, but works overall with smaller sets. I like the carrying case that came with it. It does appear to be good quality, but I have only used it a few times.

This grate quickly sets up, with legs that lock securely in place. Unlocking the legs is done by simply squeezing them, then fold inwards. Steel gauge is heavy, and can easily withstand the weight of a 12" cast iron skillet containing two steaks. Comes with a handy storage carry bag.

I took it camping this past weekend, didn't realize how short it would be but it worked fine. We set it in the corner of fire pit and cooked our foil packs with the indirect heat. Probably took 15-20 min to get them bubbling. I wish it was a little bit taller but it will work, especially for the price.
