This hitch worked wonderfully. However rad auto failed to deliver a second box that contained the legs. Ups had damaged it and returned it automatically. I never received it. I contacted rad auto and instead of sending out a replacement box with the legs, they insisted I send back fifth wheel. I ordered the legs from etrailer. So I could complete install. Contacted Amazon told them what happened and within 2 hours had a refund for the cost of the legs. I am very happy amazon takes care of their customers. But overall the hitch is very good. And is heavy duty!

Just installed so no feedback on usage other than the slide mechanism. Instructions very specifically mention one needs to grease the leaf spring that tensions the slide lock. Problem is that it is very difficult to apply the grease where it needs to be. I ended up using a long allen wrench. My mechanism was so stiff that at first I thought it was broke. After working it 10-15 times it loosened up. Reese - get with your manufacturer in China and have this greased before they assemble the product! Also need grease on the circular shaft.

I ordered a hitch with the install kit. Item arrived on-time, and at the time I ordered, this was the cheapest price on the internet. I had it delivered to my auto mechanic who installed this in the truck for me. The only complaint is that the bolt holding the head to the frame was missing. A quick call to Reese and it arrived the next day in the mail. Very happy with this product.The slider on the hitch is great when maneuvering the trailer into tight corners. You can easily slide the hitch back away from the cab, allowing for an almost 90 degree turn. With the flip of a bar, the hitch will slide back to the towing position, allowing the weight to sit over your axels when driving down the road.
