The mirror does not fog up if used properly. The only problem I have is the edges of the mirror are some chipping or discoloration around the edges. I uploaded pictures. Only had it for a few weeks and it’s disappointing. I wouldn’t buy this one.

I've only had this for a month, and it's falling apart. As you can see in the pics, the back coating is deteriorating, and that's what gives the mirror function, which means that it is a matter of time this turns into a useless piece of plastic. What's worse, this is with an extremely light use. For example, I only take a shower at time 4 times a week because I shower at my gym. On top of it, this mirror is placed in a place where water doesn't hit. I've only wet the mirror like 5 times to clear up the fog seriously. It is so bad that I would call this a defective product.

Simple idea performs beyond expectations. I placed ours on our 360 degree, shower rod, opposite the show head, near the opening of dual liners. there must be just enough air flow there; it doesn't fog at all. The reflection is clear; much better quality than I expected for the price. This light-weight item would also travel well. Very pleased!

We have had soap on a rope for years, but mirrors always come on a handle, or with a suction, they fog or they blur with use.So far, with this mirror, it had no problems. With clear instructions, you learn how to maintain a no-fog mirror, and it can easily be moved around with use with the rope - no more large plastic mirror.Not only can this one be used in the shower, but you would think it would work just as well in your purse, next to your hair stylist station for easy to use mirror, the possibilities are endless for this small mirror.For those women who hate leaving the shower only to find that their makeup is still under their eyes, this is the perfect purchase for you, I know that's why I wanted one! First of all, forget the "fogless" thing. No mirror is fogless; it's a fundamental quality of smooth surfaces that they will mist up when wet and in varying temperatures. The reason this mirror works is because of the rope and its light weight. The mirror is plastic, but reflects clearly and true. Hanging it on the included hook means that you can take t down and hold it under the water to equalize the temperature somewhat. This makes it less foggy, although water beads on it quickly. I use my shower squeegee to wipe it down every so often. The included "rope" is actually about 5 feet of nylon paracord, so it holds up well and shouldn't rot. It also has a plastic slide should you wish to cinch it up. A metal hook with a glue-tab back is included to hang the mirror on when you're not holding it.Overall, it works as well as or better than any other shower mirror I've used. Again, it is NOT fogless, because fogless is an impossibility absent some high-tech coating or something. As a mirror, it works fine. Its best quality is that it's very light and easy to hold or hang around your neck. I like the fact that I can just hold it under my chin to see to shave my neck, and I don't have to crane my neck as I would with a wall-mount. Frankly I think the price is a tad high for what you get (I'd sooner have paid 10 bucks for metal or glass), but for what it is, it works well and I like it.

Great price but not happy with the fog less feature... Regardless of how much hot water I pour on it as stated in the instructions the duration for it to fog up again is short.. Also the gray backing is coming off and I only had this product for 2 months... Either way for the price it's not bad as it is easy to take with you when traveling/business...etc.

I love this mirror! It's the only one I've ever had that doesn't give me fogging problems in the shower. The secret is that, unlike most, the back of it is not enclosed in anything. If you can't get to the back of the mirror, you can't equalize the temperature between the front and back (by holding it under the warm water), so the result is fog. It's simple science. So yes, it fogs up...and you rinse it, front AND back, and the fog is gone. This is the least expensive mirror I've ever had, and it's the best! I normally don't write reviews (and nowadays, with the low quality of most of what we buy, most of them would be negative if I did), but I had to take a moment and highlight this truly excellent mirror. Just follow the simple directions (rinse off the front AND the back when you're ready to use it) and you will be satisfied. One more thing...because it hangs, you can easily hold it while you shave...that's a bonus if you wear glasses, as you don't have to stand right next to the shower wall to be close enough to the mirror to see well.
