No matter how much I rubbed the backing as instructed, parts of the decal still stuck to the backing as I was peeling it off (it should stick to the transfer tape). I had to carefully let the backing stick back on, rub some more, then I eventually had to just peel some parts off from a different direction (very slowly) to get them to stay stuck to the transfer tape. Finally got everything onto the transfer, then it was difficult to make sure the large transfer was straight before it decided to just go ahead and stick itself to the side of the mailbox lol. But I’m pleased with the results overall. It isn’t listed anywhere in the instructions but:Be sure to clean your mailbox with rubbing alcohol first to ensure maximum adhesiveness.

I got my daughter a playhouse bed and I went crazy customizing it. The one thing that was missing was the address. I wanted to add a 1/2 to our address but couldn’t find the symbol in the physical metal numbers. Glad I held off because this decal puts an absolutely perfect finishing touch to the look and is way better than my original idea.I also bought a second one for my mailbox because my adhesive numbers had faded so I upgraded my house in the process too.

The sticker looks great only problem was that it was folded not rolled, so it was buckled and coming off the backing which makes it almost impossible to transfer to the mailbox without wrinkles or tearing.

Bought this for both sides of the mailbox with our full address on it and last initial. It fit perfectly and looks terrific. Applying the decal was not difficult and took about 10 minutes.
