This device looks like the picture and has a probe that plugs in and tells the temperature of both the inside and the outside. And that’s where the similarities end with the description. If there is a separate alarm for the “inside” and “outside” it is not apparent which one you are setting while setting the alarm. As best as I could tell, the alarm is for the box that is mounted to the wall and labelled “inside”. The outside temp is for the probe. I found no way to set the outside temp on the alarm. Since this is for my freezer, I need to know when the freezer is too warm. Keeping the box inside the freezer is not the plan. The instructions are useless and translated poorly from a different language. I will be returning this device in search of something that will work for our home better.

This is NOT a fridge/freezer alarm, just an old digital indoor/outdoor thermometer! The "alarm" is just a low-volume beep which only lasts 60 seconds! And as others have said, the instructions are too tiny to read without a magnifier, and almost impossible to decipher. Returning!

Alarm will not stop blinking and it was extremely hard to set the temps (high and low). Would not buy this product again.

These seem to be like an indoor/outdoor thermometer for your home, and not a freezer. If you look at the manual it even explains this somewhat in terms of it saying inside and outside temperature and how the probe is mislabeled as outside. The alarm is kind of annoying, because just opening the door for a few seconds triggers it unless you have the probe deep into your freezer. While I appreciate an early warning, I would prefer it to wait a few minutes before alarming.

My freezer is 10 years old and if it went out and I didn't notice, I would loose hundreds of dollars in food. It is not in the way a I don't worry about it now.

I ordered the “2 pcs Refrigerator Thermometer Freezer Thermometer Digital Alarm Fridge Thermometer Extra Sensor White (2, White, A)” to review and to help maintain our refrigerator temperatures without having to open them. My ultimate impression with these is that they were not designed, nor originally intended, for refrigerator use. These seem like they were designed as indoor/outdoor thermometers that you might sit near a window and run the “out” temp remote sensor out the window. This is likely why the two temperature displays are labeled “In” and “Out.” However, as a refrigerator thermometer, “In” refers to room temperature “outside of” the refrigerator and “Out” measures the temp “inside of” the refrigerator. Essentially, I do like that it measures the internal temperature of the refrigerator remotely with a wired remote and it does measure the room temperature where the refrigerator is located. My biggest disappointment lies in the alarms. The “High” alarm sounds when the “In” temp goes higher than the “Hi” alarm temp set. The “Low” alarm sounds when the “Out” temp goes lower than the “Lo” alarm temp set. My feeling is that a true refrigerator thermometer should have “Hi” and “Lo” temps BOTH for the inside of the refrigerator. This is NOT the case. This thermometer will NOT warn you if your refrigerator stops cooling and begins to warm up. 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️– Average to Below Average – A bit less than what you would expect based on the Product Page. Sticks in my freezer without having to defrost it first. I don't know if that's a thing, but I was afraid it wouldn't stick if there was frost or condensation on the side. For some reason mine is reading outside temp as in and inside temp as out. Currently my garage is at -3F and the inside of the freezer is 82.4F. It took a few looks, but I no longer panic at those readings.
