Used this with brown paper in place of regular gift wrap this Christmas - loads of compliments and it barely made a dent, this roll will last several years.

I purchased red and white baker's twine to jazz up this year's boxed, homemade Christmas treats. You get so much of it! I tied and tied and tied and tied - never once worrying that I was running out or feeling I should prepare to go out and purchase backups (which invariably happens when I'm tying up packages with especially expensive materials). This twine is thin but strong. I love the way the cone stands up on its own, nice and tidy. Best of all, I never have to search for my scissors. They're always at the ready when dropped into the top of the cone.

As others have said, this is thin string. It reminds me of dental floss. But I like it. I bought it to tie Christmas presents. A single strand works great for small gifts. For larger boxes where you need something thicker, multiple stands look very nice together. It seems strong, holds a bow without sliding loose, and doesn't fray.There's a lot on this spool. I used arm lengths and arm lengths and have barely made a dent. I'm impressed by both the quality and quantity for the price, and I'm glad I chose this over ribbon.

I used this twine to tie bags of Christmas goodies and liked the look very much. As other reviewers mentioned, the twine is a little thin, but I expected that. For the price, you really do get a lot of twine. This cone will last me a long time and the twine gives packaged goodies a special look. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product.

After getting caught up in the "kraft wrapping paper with twine!" frenzy for christmas presents, I had looked around at Michael's or happened upon them on the etsy homepage during the holiday season and I just have to laugh at how retarded it would be to buy baker's twine anywhere else but amazon. This thing is ridiculous. While other stores charge $7.99 for this tiny little spool of twine, this thing is like the Costco size, you-will-never-be-in-want-of-twine-again size. I don't think I know enough people I wrap presents for to ever use this whole thing. When the apocalypse strikes, I will at least have a lifetime supply of twine. It's a nice quality, doesn't fray and looks great for wrapping, which is primarily what I use it for. I would buy it again, but like I said, I don't think I'll ever use up my current roll.

I use this for everything! I love the look of classic red twine and as I said, I use it for everything. I think that nothing looks better then wrapping a gift in butcher paper and a whole bunch of red twine. People always complement. Also, I use it for random tag labeling around the kitchen, and a whole bunch of other projects that just need tying. Overall, I have it 4 out of 5 starts because it is a little thin. BUT, you get soo much of it! You can just double or triple the twine and it gives a great look for when you want to use it for crafting. Will definitely buy again!

I bought this twine to wrap my holiday treats with this past Christmas. They turned out so adorable. I wrapped my baked treats in parchment paper, brown lunch/kraft bags, small treat boxes, or cellophane, and then used the twine to secure and wrap the package. This twine was a simple way to make my holiday treat gifts a little more special. :)I was also really pleasantly surprised at how much twine came with this order! After wrapping about 50+ brownies/crumb bars with this twine, I feel like I barely made a dent to this twine cone! The price compared to what I have seen elsewhere is just unbelieavable! Now if only they can start selling the twine in other cute colors! Very happy with this purchase.
