It went up easy and looks nice enough however our 21 lb, 7 month old American Eskimo was under it and out in 2 minutes flat. Now hubby has to do extra rigging on the bottom so she can’t lift it up and escape.Bottom line - it’s tall so she can’t jump over it, it looks nice enough, was easy to install and fit across the garage door opening. If you have a clever circus dog like us be prepared to modify the bottom. I suppose we’ll see how that’ll turn out later.

We got this for my grand daughters Playroom to keep the little puppies out… It’s absolutely perfect and it’s beautifully aesthetic

This thing is awesome. Only requests would be make bottom sturdier. My dog can get her head under bottom of mesh. Other than that amazing product does the job for what I call doggy airlock.

The gate is a good height. Locks/unlocks/retracts easily. Don’t feel it’s as sturdy as described/reviewed. Overall a good product.

This is my first time EVER writing a negative review but I feel like I have too. This product at first seems nice and all but is not a quality product. I bought the gate about a month ago and only had it up for about 2.5 weeks and the main support beam broke. The only reason I bought this gate is because of how wide of an opening I have and that it is "reinforced". I would beg to differ on the latter of they two. I would not buy this gate unless it is a last resort for both pets or infants like the pictures show.

We need to keep 3 big dogs separated when 2 small dogs are present. This gate does a great job. You need to remember to lock it, as 1 dog figured out how to get under it if it isn't locked.

This is an extra heavy duty gate and it replaced another one my little dog was able to get under. This is a high quality gate and even comes with a floor mount which I did not use to anchor the middle of the gate when extended. We tried another one and it was not secure enough but I would buy this one again in a minute. The metal bars they put in kept the top or bottom from buckling when my dog tried to get out going under.

In the event that it is not being used, the gate is able to discretely vanish into the casing, leaving my living area feeling open and devoid of clutter. While I am playing, on the other hand, I am able to effortlessly draw out the required length in order to establish a barrier. Charlie is able to avoid engaging in any risky countertop investigations because of his 42-inch height, which is ideal for him. Despite his exuberant puppy hops, the gate will not move because of the support rods that are included in the package. This ensures that the gate will remain stable. There have been a few learning curves for both Charlie and me, despite the fact that the gate itself has been exceptional. The releasing mechanism is the first point to consider. It took some time and effort to get the hang of it, but it takes a gentle squeeze with both hands. On the other hand, once I had learned it, opening and shutting the gate became a task that was without difficulty. It was the initial novelty of the mesh that presented Charlie with the greatest challenge. A large number of days were spent by him doing things like batting at it and trying to nibble on it. With a little bit of luck, the mesh held up pretty well, and after about a week, the novelty disappeared.
