BITS

Reinsman bits are crafted with precision and expertise, designed to optimize communication and comfort between horse and rider. Known for their exceptional quality and thoughtful design, Reinsman bits are made from high-grade materials that ensure durability and reliability. Each bit is engineered to provide clear signals while promoting a gentle and responsive connection with the horse's mouth. Whether used for training, competition, or everyday riding, Reinsman bits offer a range of styles and mouthpiece options to suit different preferences and disciplines.

STAGE A & STAGE B

STAGE A & STAGE B

  • Stage A - Direct Reining: Designed for young or green horses and riders learning basic cues. Stage A bits typically feature gentle mouthpieces like smooth snaffles or mild curbs, focusing on clear communication and establishing a foundation of direct rein control.
  • Stage B - Transition Bits: Intended for horses progressing beyond basic training. Stage B bits offer additional features such as slight tongue relief, ported mouthpieces, or moderate leverage options. These bits aid in refining responsiveness and preparing horses for more nuanced cues.
STAGE C & STAGE D

STAGE C & STAGE D

  • Stage C - Neck Reining: Geared towards horses trained in neck reining and performing at intermediate levels. Stage C bits often include ported or correctional mouthpieces, offering precise communication and moderate to significant leverage for advanced maneuvers and responsiveness.
  • Stage D - Advanced Neck Reining: Tailored for elite-level horses proficient in neck reining. Stage D bits feature intricate designs like swivel mouthpieces, advanced porting, or innovative materials for refined control and subtle communication during high-level performances.
STAGE E & HACKAMORES

STAGE E & HACKAMORES

  • Stage E - Correction: Specialized bits for horses requiring corrective aids or fine-tuning of cues. Stage E bits often incorporate correctional mouthpieces with high ports, swiveling elements, or varying shank lengths to address specific training needs and promote optimal responsiveness.
  • Hackamores: Ideal for horses that prefer or require bitless options. Reinsman hackamores are crafted with quality materials and ergonomic designs to provide effective control and communication through leverage, nose pressure, or a combination of both. They offer versatility for sensitive horses or those with mouth-related issues.

This is a great training bit. Both my young horses like it and keep a soft feel with it. Delivery was fast and good.

Arrived used. I paid new pricing for a used bit. It had teeth marks, pieces of hay, and way too much oxidation for a new bit. The manufacturer’s tag was battered and you could tell it was put back on the bit after someone used it. I don’t mind buying used, but it should be for used price point and advertised accurately.

It works well on our younger more stressed horses so they can play with it. Only thing is that it rusted a bit on the sides, and I don't like it. It hasn't done anything to the sides of her lips though, and I keep a very close on it.

This bit is exactly what I needed. This one is a hybrid between 2 bits I already had, and it has worked great so far. I was super impressed by the delivery time of just a few days compared to another seller of the same product that was not going to deliver until November!

This is a great quality bit for the money. Used it for trail riding with my five-year-old gelding and he did very well with it. I will probably purchase another one of these for some of my other horses.
