Was hoping to use this as an ATO fuse puller but just a fraction took big. OK but flimsy construction

UPDATE:Seller gave full refund so I am changing review to 5 stars. Thanks.Bought these according to specs being .59 inches in closed position. They are actually 1 inch which is too wide for smaller relays. Really needed the correct size now. Don't know if I will keep or not. NOT HAPPY.UPDATE:After looking closely there's a small nick on one of the handles. They may have been used, returned, and swapped for a different size. EITHER WAY STILL NOT HAPPY.

This is a great tool to have in your car's glove box! Most often a relay or fuse blows when you're out and about. The plastic tool that some cars come with to remove fuses etc., typically are not the best. This tool makes it easy to remove both fuses and the dreaded, deeply embedded relays! lol.I will be the first to acknowledge that this tool is not needed; it is more of a luxury. Honestly, you can get a good grip with pliers and/or your hand (for relays) BUT using this tool will make it a more direct, easy process and prevents damage during removal. So, I believe this makes a great stocking stuffer during the holidays or gift for any "auto person"; because this is something you can use but not necessarily seek out; because you don't know that you need it until AFTER you needed it! :-)Great tool!

I've gone for years without owning a set of these despite having just about every other tool known to man.Do you need them? Not really. Are they nice to have? Yes they are and if you've ever been tucked up under a dash wiggling away at a relay to get it out you'll know what I'm talking about.Realistically, a bigger benefit to using these is that by being able to grip the relay and pull straight out, you won't risk damaging or loosening the contacts in the fuse box/relay holder. The pulling tips are sturdy yet thin enough to get into tight areas and overall the pliers have a good feel. (They don't feel cheap or weak.)I'm happy with them.
