I got these server pads as a throwback to my days working as a waitress in a diner. I was surprised when the package came because I'm pretty sure these are higher quality than the ones we used back in the day--maybe bigger, and almost certainly a thicker, higher quality paper. These have everything else you'd expect, including perforations at the top and at the bottom to tear off the guest receipt.My purpose in getting these, apart from nostalgia, was to use them as a kind of notepad. I think they'll work great for that purpose. (I've discovered they also make good bookmarks.) I think they could also be fun for kids to play with. And, obviously, they can be used for their intended purpose. :-)

These are great for servers! We use a pint of sale system that prints the customers bills, but these are great for taking orders. The pads fit nicely in a server apron and are easy to write on. They are durable enough so they don't tear when you are writing on them, but they aren't super heavy in your apron.

I admit I did not read carefully. I thought perhaps these had carbon copies, but they are just a single sheet guest check book. So while they do not really suit my purpose, I had to give them a five star for how well they are made. I was especially impressed by the thickness of the paper. It would definitely hold up in a restaurant/kitchen environment. Bering numbered of course helps keep track of daily/monthly/yearly orders. Recommended for restaurant/wait-staff use.

I co-own a restaurant to which I also serve at. We do somethings the old school way despite having the capability to do it digitally there is something more personable about taking and order the old school way and inputting it in the computer for generation.The quality of these note pads is excellent- not to thick not to thin and lasted me a while.

I run a mobile food tent, and these guest checks serve a great purpose for me. They allow me to write the customers order on the check, place the check into the clip rack for the preparer, and move on to the next customer. As the preparer finishes the order, he then removes the guest check from the clip rack and places it on the receipt spike. The best part is, if we get busy I can remove the bottom portion and give it to the customer. The number matches the guest check, so the preparer can call out the order number once it's ready. Simply, easy, and effective.

These are good quality server note pads. The paper is thick and sturdy, and tears off cleanly. My daughter's have a food cart and love playing with it, so I ordered these for them to play with and it's been a fabulous purchase! It helps them work on their spelling and math, all while having fun playing. Not the typical purpose of these server note pads, but they sure work great for their imaginative play!
