I used this latch to secure the lid/door on my bulk storage freezer. As the freezer has accumulated more items in it, it become a risk for the lid to stay open a bit and let out all of the cold air. This latch worked perfectly to secure the lid in the closed position so the food inside isn't compromised.

Came without hardware to install. Had to hardware store to buy screws. Just could of bought it at the store if I had to make the trip .

I was able to save a bunch of well abused flight cases in my sound company. So far these are performing very well. These were an exact fit for each case I repaired with the same size hardware. I have installed a dozen or so and each one has been an excellent replacement.

These are beefy. I made a show case for keeping Pinewood Derby car that opens in two halves and used this to lock them shut. They do the job well. Some people complained about not coming up with the screw. I tend to use screws that are appropriate for the job so I don't think it should be an issue for most DIYers.
