This is a nice candle, well decorated. It's unscented and burns evenly and cleanly. I haven't yet used it up, but it also seems it will burn for many hours, so depending on how you're using it, it should be good to last you several years.

This is a really nice candle... until you sprinkle holy water on it... and the gilding begins to flake off before you've even used it once. Can I still use it? Yes. Would it be nicer if the IHS and entire cross stayed gilded?Yep.

This candle has exquisite detailing. It has a wick of medium length that ignites effortlessly and with an even burn. It's quite beautiful, whether illuminated or not.

This is a beautiful candle reflecting the Catholic faith. The gold cross and IHS are decorative and meaningful. In Catholicism, candles are the important in prayer and the liturgy as 'The Light of Christ'. Having a home religuious candle for prayer and devotion can help to strengthen faith and bring reverence and meaning into your home. One that is beautifully decorated such as this is a nice addition to a prayer or living area. The candle itself is tall with a 1.8 inch diameter and burns cleanly. It does not mention what type of wax is used in the candle. It is unscented, which is appropriate for religious uses. I love that the candle is made to support rural Mexican communities- and the country of origin is USA. Overall, a beautiful religious candle for a reasonable price that can be used in prayer, devotion, or a symbol of faith. This would make a beautiful gift for a first communion, confirmation, or baptism. Happy to recommend.

I love the quality of the wax used in this candle. It burns quite well and has no unpleasant smell which I like. One thing I do recommend is not to leave the candle unattended and to make sure you are using some type of candle holder or dish to protect any surface from the wax. These candles are perfect for gift giving or to light up at home. I used mine to light on the my grandfathers death anniversary.

This is a beautiful candle, even though I am not religious, but I have always been fond of the cross symbol so when I can find them on most things, candles included, I do tend to like them. I love the look, it appears to be high-quality crafted wax material. I love the look, the design of it, and it is beautiful. I am anxious to burn it, but at the same time, it is so pretty and that sometimes makes me want to reconsider burning it, but this was is borderline that pretty. I love it!

It almost looks too good to burn! I was torn between using it as a beautiful decoration or lighting it, but when I finally did, the wick lit effortlessly and burned evenly. Whether you're looking for a baptism candle or a meaningful Catholic symbol, this candle is an excellent choice.
