Didn't work from the start. Put a multimeter on it and it wasn't even running volts thru the cable.

Not impressed with any device that needs a weird charging cable. Good for these guys for undercutting the ripoff manufacturer!

I ordered this cord to replace old charging cord for MinnKota trolling motor hand held remote. Cord fit perfectly but would not charge the unit. After some time and a bunch of cussing we found the problem. There is a small piece of plastic between the probes on the end of the cord that plugs into the remote. We had to trim down this piece as it was keeping the probes from making contact with the connectors inside the remote. Once plastic piece was trimmed shorter it worked perfect. I suggest using a finger nail clipper to trim the plastic piece.

This is a direct replacement or additional charging cord for the Minn Kota I-Pilot LINK remote. Plugged it in and worked perfectly. Cables seems sturdy and should last you years,I plan on using this as a back-up on the boat and keep the original at home. I won't be so worried any longer with just the one charger. This is to be used with a USB-A socket which most people have many around the house.If you're looking for a direct fit charging cord for you I-Pilot LINK, this is it.
