The charging station is weak and not very secure when docking the remote. Also, even when it does charge, the batteries don't last long (like 15-20 minutes!), so I returned them. This is the 2nd type of charging station that I've purchased and got the same result. I guess there are no good quality docking stations out there for Wii remotes.What I did instead was go the old fashion route, which is buying some rechargeable batteries and a charging case for them on Amazon. I found one that gives you a charging station (with a usb-c port) that charges 8 batteries for cheap that you can swap out of the remotes as needed. This has worked out much better for me.

I bought this in January and it works amazing. The battery life is super long and all my siblings and I can play without any issues. Only slight mishap is the back case is so thick it’s kind of impossible to hit the red button to sync unless you have like a thin needle or object to press it, nonetheless it’s a great product and works amazing. It hasn’t given me any problems after a month of use and is very easy to set up. Definitely worth buying to save money on batteries, thank god.

These can be a bit finicky to get seated correctly to hold a steady contact between charger and controllers. Charging base would benefit from a design change. Little more angle to lean controller back a tad more and lip on the bottom to stop the controller from falling backwards. Other than that it seems to work ok. Will keep til it stops working, but wouldn’t buy again. FYI, Contacts are clean and untarnished if you’re suspecting thats the issue.

Good product for the price, charges my two Wii remotes pretty fast, only issue is the power cord could be longer, but that's a minor thing.
