Extremely difficult to install, had to take the whole speaker apart after watching. 45 minutes YouTube video but so far the battery is holding up well and I get hours and hours of play time. Like new again

After purchasing this battery and replacing it I realized I was dealing with the same issue because the battery I installed was no good. Lucky for me I waiting passed the 30 day mark to get this job done and find out about the battery. Wouldn't buy from this seller again.

My boombox gen 1 was lacking a new battery as It didn't hold a charge anymore being a 2017 model. I have 2 of them the other still holding charge but one was acting up Replaced the battery with new one and I'm back at annoying my neighbors with the loud music lol. Good product I recommend

It's true this is the upgraded capacity battery which is cool. It fits in the Boombox just fine. Also true that the battery indicator doesn't show with this batter but I don't mind. It works just fine. Installing the replacement is a bit of work (too much work), but cheaper than buying a new one lol ┐(‘～`;)┌

Quite a pain to take apart and put back together, but boombox works like new besides now appearing on Bluetooth as J^L Boo@ox (???) and the battery indicator doesn’t light up, but who cares. Can’t yet say for sure but this battery seems to have longer life than the original, which makes sense since the original is 10k mAH and this is 25k. Saved myself a chunk of $$$ not having to buy a new boombox 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Before purchasing, make sure your battery wires didn't not come apart inside the speaker. Which is the reason I returned this. My husband had his friend, who is very good at things like this, take apart the speaker to replace with this battery, and realized that the plugs came loose. Once reconnected, the speaker worked again. No new battery needed. It had been a few weeks and no problems.
