I had to remove some of the foam padding surrounding the battery pack to fit the battery compartment. Otherwise installation was a breeze and it is working well.

Battery works, HOWEVER, the wires on this battery were backwards on my JBL Charge2+. The battery shown on this page is accurate but the red and black wires are on the opposite sides than the wires on the factory battery (red and black wires on wrong side of the Molex connector). I did not compare the order of the wires in advance—just confirmed I had a compatible model. Fortunately, I was able to cut, splice, and solder the wires in the correct order and battery and speakers work fine. Aside from this, the battery works fine and fits perfectly. I’m not sure if this will be an issue for every Charge2+, but unless you are able to splice the wires or remove them from the Molex connector to rearrange them, make sure you compare the wires on your factory battery with the wires on the photo of the new battery on this page before buying it.
