I wish the kit included the ring and pinion spacers and the drive shaft gear that went on the pinion gear. But, fortunately, I was able to use my old ones, in spite of all my other original parts being bad or damaged. I could not have done the job without the socket that is included in the kit for removing the pinion gear ring. The included socket is a must, if you do not happen to have one. This was a great kit at a good price that allowed me to salvage an otherwise good bike. Note: I own a 20 ton H-frame press and may not have been able to do the job without it. I had trouble pressing my pinion bearings into the case, partially because my case was damaged. A bearing driver may also do the job. I am happy, and was thrilled to be able to get the parts at a reasonable price to repair my bike. I tried a local motorcycle shop, with no luck, before looking on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised.

Beware. The kit does not include the spring wire retainer that holds the small pinion needle bearing in place

Both the ring and pinion gears had damage when I took them out of the shipping box. This kit is made with inferer materials. Spend a little more and get a better quality kit.
