I found a youtube on how to fix the HP x360 ENVY hinge and the guy was most helpful, but I cannot find his link anymore. It was he who suggested that Amazon can provide the spare parts and his illustration was so well presented. He should take the credit. As for Amazon, their service was amazing and fast, i.e. I live in South Africa and good service is rare. The only issue was that I was not required to sign for receipt and the delivery courier did not care to get a signature. There is a risk I could deny receiving so that should be fixed. Otherwise, all went well. The only issue was me using a Fender Gurtar plectrum to split the screen from its housing and I messed up. You can now see the plectrum nice and clearly on the screen in the photo, so be careful about that. I on the other hand think a Fender Plectrum has added value to the system.
