seems like a good quality visor just doesnt fit my helmet like it should

I really wanted to like this because the color is attractive, but unfortunately this visor simply doesn't work.The mounting pegs are molded with slightly incorrect dimensions, and presumably to cheat you out of an extra nickel the manufacturer has elected not to include the required chamfers on the main pivot molding as well as the retainer hook. So this appears to "fit," but it doesn't actually work because you can't close the visor without it popping out of its mount and every time.What happens is, every time you shut the visor the too-wide and misshapen prongs and pivot molding shove the release trigger outwards when they shouldn't, which causes the mounting surfaces to cam out of their tracks and the visor just pops off of the mount. It is impossible to actually close this visor once installed.The best case scenario if you close the visor very slowly and carefully is that it only comes out of the track halfway, and barely remains attached leaving a massive gap between the lower edge of the visor and the face gasket. But if you try to close it quickly the mount will simply leap right out of the track and the entire thing falls off.I thought this might be a manufacturing fluke so I exchanged my first one. But the second one does exactly the same thing.If you hold a genuine Bell visor side by side with with this one you can compare the two and note the subtle, but very important differences in the details of the retainer hook and pivot molding. The genuine article has a chamfer along the inside edge of the pivot molding, and the retainer hook is shaped slightly differently and is marginally thinner. The manufacturer could not even be bothered to correctly copy what they were knocking off, and in this case it is completely detrimental to the function.So this is completely useless.The other thing I'll point out is that it barely even represents a better deal than getting a genuine Bell visor, which is only a few dollars more. If I were you I'd pony up the extra Hamilton for the real deal. This cheap knockoff can't even be trusted to stay on your helmet when you're stationary. Are you really going to trust your eyeballs to the hope and prayer that it won't shatter instantly or just fly off if any tiny thing impacts it at speed? I wouldn't.

The shield works as it should. However, after a ride and you clean the dead bugs off, there are marks left on the shield that do not come off.

Bad overall quality as it was just a little bit too small from the proper specs, so it would never fully close which made it pop open with the wind. I threw it away after trying to keep it and make it work

The color and tint on the visor are good, and not too dark. Bought it for a Bell Qualifier helmet and the fit isn't the best but gets the job done.

Wasn't expecting to much from this when I caught glimpse of it, but to my surprise it's actually quite nice a little too dark for night but day it's wonderful. Only issue with mine was it seemed some of the tint seemed like bubbled up but turned out to just be a little bit of extra plastic on it
