The rubber used is very stiff and not very plyable.

These work great as cheap replacements. They fit tight but were not an issue to twist into place. I didn’t seem to struggle putting them in like others but I could see how smaller hands or limited hand strength, these could be difficult to install. Having replaced these with genuine parts, these are harder to install. They seem to work fine, I don’t think seat comfort is really driven off of these dampeners but the mower is as comfortable as it ever was with these used as replacements.

Seems to be well made and durable! Fits my 2003 John deer 2210 perfectly. Took 5 minutes to install.

Not sure how the originals were as they were crumbling apart when I got the machine. These were a little tough to install but they don't need to be moved so they'll work fine.

These are Very Stiff Rubber Seat Supports/ Shock Absorbers & That Can Be a Good Thing, Time/Age Will Tell! .... They Can Be alittle Hard to Get into The Seat Tracks..I used alittle WD40 And A flat Screwdriver and Slowly Worked Them in One By One...Just Be Very Careful Not To Get injured or Break Your Seat Tracks.
