These wheels are slightly taller than the others I came across on the market which was exactly what I needed to get an additional inch out of my Mirra chair for my desk, since it already comes with 3 inch wheels. They roll smooth and quiet like I would expect from the roller blade wheels, and the casing looks nice rather than some of the cheap looking stamped steel ones. Build quality feels solid.

Recently becoming an above knee amputee, I needed something to make working in the kitchen without having to perform every task above my shoulders. The simple act of using a cutting board quickly becomes painful when working from a wheelchair. I purchased a “Giantex Drafting Chair” (Amazon — $109.00) to raise me up eight inches. I knew the wheels would need to be upgraded. Throughout the years, I've replaced numerous wheels, but these are unquestionably the “BEST OF THE BEST”! Including several sets costing much more! From the first roll I was so impressed with the quiet smooth & with so little effort, the chair glided across the kitchen floor. To some, the price of the UNIQ wheels may seem a bit high, as many wheels are cheaper. I prefer to shop for the best value. I think most people attempt to buy the best quality at affordable prices. Someone, somewhere, is always willing to sell something CHEAPER. Now, if you're seeking the best bang for your buck, this is it. Not only do they outperform any wheels I have ever had, but the entirely UNIQUE DESIGN adds a touch of class not found on any other wheel replacement set I'm aware of. (see pics) At the end of the day, one must admit the additional cost isn't that much more. Personally, I think these wheels are selling at A “ROCK BOTTOM, BARGAIN BASEMENT PRICE”. I'm certain this doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway; I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH PRODUCTS referred to in this review. I'm confident you will be as impressed as I am.

Originally bought this to raise the seat height by a tiny bit as my Steelcase Leap V2’s seat gas cylinder piston was dragging on the floor with the smaller and shorter castors.Impressed with the smoothness and soundless of these wheels and they were easy to install as well. Highly recommended!

I have several venerable Herman Miller office chairs. These have been around for twenty years or more. They still look like new and are super comforatble. The casters were begininng to show their age though. These roller blade style casters with their added height, (more than an inch compared to the original casters on my chairs) do increase the lowest height the chair can be adjusted to, so beware of that. But if that isn't an issue, the larger wheel diameter and the compliant urethane wheel construction make for a big improvement in mobility. My home office has both laminate flooring and some area rugs that are close nap pretty similar to most commeercial carpeting. I love the fact that I can roll onto a carpeted area from the laminate floor effortlessly with no chance of the carpet bunching where the wheel encounters the edge of the carpet. This was not possible with the smaller diameter original casters. Plus, the rolling effort is much much lower. The clear urethane wheels don't leave marks. The construction is solid. I just ordered another set.

Have had these for about 8 months now and they're still in great shape. So much smoother and quieter than what came with my chair. For $38cad they're a good price.

Raise my chair just enough to eliminate my back pain. They also roll very smoothly and I no longer have to worry about cords getting caught up in them. These were less than half the price than a similar (but inferior in design) product from a local shop that specialized in casters.

Adds a little bit of height to the chair and very smooth.

In setting up my home office (or as my family calls it, my corner of the basement), I decided I needed to do something about the wheels on my office chair. Between the cement and age of the base of the chair, the old wheels were okay, but definitely showing their age. (I have a custom built chair from a reclaimed Volvo car seat.)Before I go further: to be honest about the review, I actually changed two things in this upgrade. One was the wheels, and one was laying down a 6x6 foot linoleum tile place for the chair.Okay, back to the wheels. Installation was almost too easy. I never look at instructions unless I am stumped. I was expecting removing the old wheels would require loosening a bolt or something. I couldn't find one. Then I read the instructions that came with the new wheels. "Just pull out the old wheel." It couldn't be that easy? Could it? Yes, it was that easy. I simply pulled out old wheels (although it took a little shaking of the wheel to loosen it). The next step was simply pushing the new wheels back in. It took me less time to change the wheels then I spent trying to figure out that I need to read the instructions. So, how do they roll? Too well. Seriously, rolling the chair is almost effortless on the linoleum. Because of how smooth and easy they roll, I have already discovered one "issue." It's not bad, it is just learning. Don't try to reach for something too far away. Roll to it and then grab it. The first time I tried to overreach, I discovered that the chair had so limit friction that it decided to slide out from me. Nothing wounded but my pride.
