Just as good as the one that came with the unit. I purchased to be used simultaneously on the same firestick so me and the wife don't have to throw the remote back and forth to each other.

It works pretty good when it comes to the firestick itself. Takes a couple of clicks sometimes.But when it comes to functions for the TV (power & volume) it definitely isn't flawless. I have to press them multiple times for it to work. So for that. Not the greatest

Don’t waste your money and time, get the original fire tv remote . Power work after you push the button 3 or 4 times and it won’t work at all on my sound bar, even after passed the setting , yeah works like a champ when setting it then it won’t work.

My puppy chewed the amazon remote that came with the firestick - and since the firestick was pretty new I did not want to have to buy a whole new set and bought this replacement controller - it synced up easy with no problems!
