The tripod legs are not fixed in any way. It is difficult to move it. There should be a plate under the base to keep the legs from swinging when you pick it up. For the price it should be more stable.

Loved the 3-D mountains. Color is tasteful. Design very nice. However some of the longitude lines don’t match up (see photo). Most people won’t care or notice, but I expected better workmanship for the price. Am I too picky?

This is my first globe. And it is perfect. The mounting structure has a nice finish. The size of the labels on is not hard to read.It is not too heavy, so it will not handle being pushed by a robot vacume. I will need to protect it from being pushed.
