Overview: The beautiful floral design on the exterior is what drew me to this potting mat. And, honestly, it’s the only reason I’m not returning it. I might try to reinforce the inside with a layer of plastic tablecloth or something. If you don’t own mini tools, you might want to glue the rake and spades onto the dowels. They’re not permanently attached.Pros: The floral design. The drainage disks are plastic, not mesh. I found that interesting. I haven’t tried using the nippers, but they look okay. Not sure how they’ll hold up to sanitizing agents. The yellow plant stakes are cute.Cons: The plastic isn’t substantial enough to make the sides stand up as shown in the photos on the product page. When I snap the corners, the mat isn’t sturdy enough to provide structure. The sides kinda flop if I don’t keep adjusting them.
