I have an adult female ball python and underestimated the width of her body versus the opening, lol. I used a hammer and sand paper to make the hole twice as large and now it should work perfectly for my rotund angel. (no she was not inside the hide when I was making my alterations. yes, I did wash away all the dust and particulate matter before putting it in her enclosure. Don't worry)

My ball python is a baby still but she is enjoying this large hide, loves climbing on it and has plenty of room to grow into it! Very good buy I have no complaints!

If you look closely, you’ll see a face peeking out the hole…lol. It took her a few weeks to actually go in but now she seems to like it. The rock is well made and the lid is super secure. I would definitely recommend this to my fellow snake lovers.

This imitation stone hide looks great in my python enclosure, and the snake likes it. She fits well through the opening and inside the hide. It is sturdy, easy to clean, and won’t tip over. The one thing I don’t like about it is that the magnets holding the lid in place are very strong: great for keeping the snake from shifting it, but a bit difficult for me to open. I can’t lift the lid off one-handed and even with two hands, have to jerk it a bit. That seems a bit abrupt and startling for the snake inside the hide. It seems a bit pricey but I do like how it looks, compared to a plain box hide.

Easy to clean/prep for use. We put a little moss in it. Our snake loves it. She hides in there when she needs to warm up and after a little time hanging with Mom.

The large fits my 3 year old, 3 ft+ corn snake really well! Wish it came in XL, 2X etc so I could have one for my 4 ft ball python!Magnets are super strong, was packaged really well! Very happy with purchase!
