The Absolute Worst of all Rests I've Tested... And No, Despite the other review... this is not left hand friendly. This rest is like someone took a battery tie down from a car and attached connectors for a violin.
Flemsy. Worst shoulder rest i have ever bought

It's supposed to be adjustable, but the only way to adjust the tightness is to bend the end posts. I returned it.

I'm so glad I found this high profile shoulder rest. Yes, I am one of those people with a very long neck and finding a well fitting shoulder rest has been a problem. I love my Bonmusica which cost so much more than this, but I have three violins in various places and now I won't have to remember to bring a shoulder rest with me. I did use a vice to put a bend in the shoulder piece and that makes it much more stable for me. Thank you, Resonans, for making a reasonably priced, high-profile shoulder rest.

This affordable, functional and comfy shoulder rest fits left-handed violins! I looked forever to find something affordable. This is it. It's perfect and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It comes in three sizes so one should be aware of sizing before ordering. You don't have to pay $50 or more for a shoulder rest to fit your violin. Highly recommended for left-handed violinists.

This is for my 13 yr old son. He is tiny boned and this gives him just enough height. This brand is by far the best and most comfortable out of all. Hard to find in stores and glad to find it on amazon.

Unless you have a swan (or artificially extended) neck, this shoulder rest will be too high for you. I bought this as a replacement for my Everest, but it's actually more uncomfortable.I'm currently searching for a chinrest pad. My current shoulder rest is fine, except I can't seem to get a good grip on it without clenching my teeth (bad habit).
