These looked like nice tongs and they do work in a pinch, but they do not open very wide and they do not grip very tightly, so you can't use them with heavy items like chicken or hamburger patties very easily. Even shredded cheese and cole slaw was a challenge due to the weak grip. I will not purchase them again.

I entertain a lot, but I don’t always want to deal with a mountain of dishes afterward. These disposable serving tongs are a great solution!I ordered the clear 10-pack, and I appreciate that each came individually wrapped. While they’re meant to be disposable, they seem sturdy enough to hand wash and reuse, if I wanted to.The serrated edges provide a good grip. Overall, these are well-made and a handy addition to any gathering. Glad I got them!

The sets are small and weak. They are made by cheap plastic. Even I have 10, but they are useless. It can hold a corn. That was it. I do not recommend it to other.

Tongs are very versatile serving utensils so I got a set. Even though these are intended to be disposable, they are made heavy duty and seems tough enough to withstand washing and reusing a few times. The plastic is nice and thick and should not snap easily. The tongs allow me to pick up most foods. The price is reasonable for the quality of these tongs.

I host a gathering of about 20 people once or twice a month and big parties a few times a year. (That doesn't count small dinners for one or two other couples.) Food is served at all events. Generally for any occasion of more than 8 to 10 guests I use disposable plates, glasses and napkins. It cuts down on the dishwashing afterwards. Plus I don't have sets of china with enough place settings for large groups. All that to say that these tongs are wonderful to use for all the gatherings. They truly are sturdy and strong and easy to use. They grip food of all types easily and securely. If I want, I can wash them to be used again. Or just toss them when I am done. Having several pairs of tongs means that all the dishes on offer have matching tools. The tongs come each wrapped separately, so they are also convenient and stay clean when taking to a potluck meal or picnic. (I hate worrying about making sure I get my serving ware back when going to a potluck.)

I received from The Restaurantware, 10 - 9 inch heavy duty serving tongs with a serrated edge. They feel fairly sturdy and look like ordinary serving tongs that are used for catering. The tongs were individually packaged in a thin plastic sleeve, I suppose to keep them clean until ready to use. Some of the sleeves were ripped open. Two of the tongs were bent out of shape, and the serrated ends did not align so it was a bit difficult to grasp rounded food items with those. These arrived in decent shape, considering that they were shipped in a plain brown shipping envelope with no padding. If I were to order these again, I would try the tongs with the rounded paddle end. These serrated ends are ok, but I think a larger surface area to pick up foods might be better.

My sons graduation party is coming up this spring so we've been purchasing things here and there to offset the cost. We're having a taco/nacho bar so when I seen these tongs I knew they would be perfect for it. We have nice, heavy duty, tongs but I'm always fearful of our good stuff getting thrown away so was looking for something more disposable to use.This is a great 10 pack of disposable tongs at a great price. These are actually better quality than some of the disposable tongs I've had in the past. These are a bit larger and feel like more of a durable plastic. I like that at the end of these they have almost little teeth to grip things a little easier. Something else that I like is they are reinforced at the top so they won't snap easily. You definitely do have to be a little more gentle with these than a nice metal pair of tongs but they will do the job and I won't have to worry about having to go through the garbage later if they would happen to accidentally get thrown away. They function as they should and will be perfect for our party.
