I use this retractable clothesline in my laundry room, and it’s been a great space-saver! The stainless steel wire is durable, and the 15.7ft length gives plenty of drying space. It’s easy to retract when not in use, keeping everything neat and organized.

This is an attractive clothes line which works well in small spaces. The product includes 2 pieces which are 1) the main body in which the line is retracts into when not being used and 2) the clip into which the clothes line slides when extended which the manufacturer calls the “auxiliary” in the installation instructions.Both parts have a metal plate (bracket) which is screwed into a wall or fence and then a plastic part which clips onto the metal bracket. In order to install the auxiliary you need to remove the metal plate from the plastic housing which, per the instructions, you do by forcefully bending the entire auxiliary which is very difficult to do. I found it easier to use a small screwdriver and then gently pry the back side edge (between the metal & plastic) of the auxiliary from the plate.The design makes installation much more complicated than necessary. It would have been easier if the mounting screws were inserted from the front of the main body and the auxiliary which would avoid any issues with putting the 2 pieces together correctly (plate and housing) or getting the backing plate upside down or backwards.The installed product works well and seems to be sturdy. I am using this outside on a patio and screwed the 2 parts into a wood fence. I will update this review if the product fails prematurely or rusts.The product comes with a tube of something called “nail glue” which can be used to attach the main body and/or auxiliary to a wall, tiles or glass. I would never attach this product to a mirror or window as the strain would likely cause a break. Personally, I would never attach to a tile as the strain might loosen the tile and using the “nail glue” might make it impossible to remove the product is say the product broke.

The steel wiring holds my laundry without sagging. I've had one of these on my wish list for things to make my life easier for a while, and I'm as pleased with this one as I thought I would be!

I haven’t actually used it as of yet because the weather here in Florida is just starting to get warm again. My main purpose for this is to hang up our wetsuits after swimming. I installed this outside on my lanai. It was easy to install and it seems to be solid. So far I’m happy with this.

This retractable clothesline is extremely easy to install, with clear instructions provided. It offers two installation options - screws for a secure hold and strong wall glue for added support. I used both, and the setup feels very sturdy. The stainless steel wire is coated in plastic, making it durable and resistant to sagging. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. I ordered this retractable, non-sagging clothesline to hold up a decorative backdrop that I don’t need to keep up all of the time. I use it for showcasing the products I sell from my Poshmark closet, Vandysue_sells. It’s sturdy and holds the backdrop without sagging. Priced right. It comes with the hardware for installation.
