It's well constructed and doesn't provide the best airflow, but I imagine it's much better than the non perforated variant. I'm using a REV'IT Matador jacket for reference. It bends nicely when inserting into the back sleeve.

It feels like corc, but it has the certification.There are 3 layers of the foam, don't make the jacket too stiff

Gifted to my son and he swears by it; he won't ride without it. Fortunately, he has not had to use it other than wear it but the added insurance for the safety of his body/back makes it well worth the cost.
