I purchased this mat to reduce vibration under a new stacked Asko Washer & Dryer. Windows across the house were rattling, picture frames askew, dishes rattling, lights flickering! The local appliance installers checked that the washer and driver were level, locknuts tightened, etc. I then asked them to check the vibration level with and without the mat installed. There was no detectable change in the vibration level. I have since learned that the Asko washer has an adjustable Spin Speed (Maximum and Minimum). I tried the Minimum Speed and the vibration level was significantly eliminated (although the water extraction was not optimum). This mat may or may not work for you based on your specific needs. It did not work for me. However, if you are buying new appliances check to see if there is an adjustable spin level. It made a huge difference! Good luck.

Live in an upstair condo, and have a stacked washer/dryer unit with uneven legs located in a cramped closet. During the spin cycle, the back of the upper dryer unit would constantly bump against the wall, making loud noises. Bought this to hopefully resolve the issue.If your unit is located in a cramped space, installing the mat as a whole under the unit may be difficult. It won't slide easily due to the friction. Had to tilt my unit back and forth and lift it to get the mat under it evenly. The mat itself didn't solve the uneven legs, so had to cut the second mat into smaller pieces to balance the unit. Solved the noise issue, but the rubber odor was unmanageable.The rubber odor seeped into my washer and my hallway, so everytime I opened the washer to use, the smell desensitized my nose to anything else except the rubber. I left the mat outside to air dry for a week prior to installing. However, couldn't handle the rubber smell indoors and had to remove it within a week's time.Although it worked fine, for my circumstances, installation was slightly inconvenient, but the dealbreaker was the rubber odor indoors. Had to swap out to the small cylindrical antivibration pads, where installation was a lot easier with minimal/no odor.

Bought this to keep my stack my smaller dryer onto washing machine. The company I bought dryer from would not install the dryer due to it being from different manufacturer. I ordered this and it works perfectly. The dryer stays in place, does not slide or dance out. I couldn’t be happier!

I had 5 different repairmen blame ME for the washer "walking" during the spin cycle. They claimed: I didn't put the clothes in evenly, or I didn't level the machine well enough, or I overloaded it. Those guys were talking out of their dryer vents! Now that I have these 'trivets' under each foot, my washer purrs like a happy kitty. If your washer sits on uneven floors, or a hard surface, & tries to pull itself out of the wall every time it spins- this will fix it. A single pad was slightly smaller than my machine, so we cut 1 pad into 4 pieces, & put a piece under each foot. We levelled the washer one last time, & now it runs without complaint. Not one of those repair guys even suggested this. Lesson learned.

We bought a new washer that is not the same brand as our old dryer. When we couldn't find a universal stacking kit, we went with this thick, heavy rubber mat. It works great, as advertised. Noise, vibration and movement of the machines is nil. This product is an excellent solution to the problem of manufacturers' non-compatible designs!

Stacked our washer/dryer units during a remodel. They are different brands so I was not able to get a stack kit. Read reviews that this mat worked for that purpose. Had to cut the mat in half as it was not wide enough for all 4 feet of the dryer to sit on. It works perfect.....no vibration at all!

Anti vibration aspect works great. Mat has a strong odor. Hoping that will get better with time.
