This part of my mower broke so I bought this to fix it. It did the job and I was able to mow for another summer and a half. After that I had to replace it again which is not ideal. However I ordered the same replacement and so far so good! It could be my mower? Either way, this part is working and I'm able to keep mowing. Price was good and easy to swap out the part.

I have a DR that the pull rope would not engage. The two little flippers that kick out were worn out. I matched my motor model to this one and it was a perfect match. It takes 5 screws to remove the old part and install this one. I got a new rope, spring a new assembly for a very good price. The DR string trimmer started right up! Highly recommend. Easy to install. Don’t mess with replacing the working parts. If the two flippers are not engaging then your rope and rope hole are probably worn out as well. Made my day!

I somehow broke my lawnmower during normal operations, the pull cord jammed and then snapped. Fearing the 6 year old device was broken I was on the verge of getting a new lawnmower all together. I decided this was an inexpensive enough attempt, so I purchased it assuming there'd be complications. To my delight it was installed in only a few minutes and the machine was back to cutting grass. I have used it for the last few months without issue.

Not the same quality as the original part, but it's a direct bolt on and it works well.Edit to change to a 2 star - second time using the mower after installing and it won't engage most of the time.
