Your cart is empty.Rhino USA’s Cam Buckle Lashing Tie Down Straps are designed for light duty use securing adventure equipment, water sports accessories and other general cargo. These straps utilize a closed loop design which allows you to lash equipment to the top of a roof rack, the back of a boat or in the bed of a truck. These straps are perfect for securing kayaks and canoes and make tying down roof top cargo easy and simple. Featuring a cam-lock metal buckle, these straps work of off friction to keep tension on the strap. The heavy-duty teeth grip the webbing material and prevent any movement once the strap is secured, meaning you can travel with peace of mind knowing your load is safe. Initial setup is easy. Simply wrap your cargo with the free end of the strap, insert the tail through the cam lock and pull the slack through. Wrap up the excess webbing with the included hook and loop keepers, and you are ready to hit the road! Each strap is 1”x12’, and has a working load of 440 pounds and a max break strength of 1,320 LBS.

Everything about this product is good, definitely worth the money and the quality of the buckle straps feels good. The protection with a rubber boot around it to prevent scratching the car. Very easy to use holds very well.

Nice solid webbing on the straps. Not sure how long they will last running them through the buckle, but they won’t be used every day anyhow. The rubber on the buckles seems a bit weak, but that’s not the reason I bought them. I already have a few sets of ratchet straps, but you take more chances damaging the paint using them with the roof racks.

Loved them even just opening the package. Family owned business, love the travel bag, the length was great (used for strapping kayaks to my J-hooks), and the rubberized cover on the hardware really helps keep my paint job! The Velcro strap to hold the extra non-used length of the strap—total game changer—love that feature. Great price, would buy again.

UPDATE: Rhino reached out shortly after I posted this and sent us a new replacement strap - awesome customer service!!We have used this strap twice and it is already fraying at the end, making it impossible to feed thru the mechanism.

I was transporting a canoe over 900 miles through rain and high winds and tried to avoid highways. When I first lashed the canoe to the top of my vehicle I put 2 straps over and through the car with bow and stern lines. After 6 hours of driving in high winds the canoe slid backward nearly 2 feet. It was scary and dangerous. The next day I re-positioned the canoe, attached 2 straps as before and used 2more straps to lash the canoe to the roof racks. This day I drove on Skyline Drive through Shennandoah National Park & then the Blue Ridge Parkway. The winds were worse pushing the car sideways at times but this time the canoe did not move! **Through all this the straps never loosened and were easy to attach, remove and store. I should have purchased these a long time ago because they are strong and make transporting so much easier!**

Using these to secure a kayak for transport. Prompt service and well packaged. Nice product for its intended purpose. The attached Velcro straps make storing and use much easier. I’m expecting these to hold up, the storage bag is an added bonus.
