The kids loved us (parents) wearing them for Halloween. The drawback…The lights are either on or off, and the lights are flashing when on. As an epileptic, I wish I could just have solid light because I had to keep mine off.

I loved the idea of this hat! I ordered one to use for an ocean-themed VBS. When it arrived, it looked exactly like I imagined. The tentacles went down nearly to my belt, which was great. They also lit up well.But....the battery pack to turn the lights on and off is located in the headband of the hat. So it's not easy to control the lights while wearing the hat. Also, the battery pack made the hat fit a little weird and uncomfortably on my head. I ended up returning it because I can't dance around on stage during VBS like that.I wish there was a way to put the battery pack somewhere else and have an On/Off switch in one of the tentacles.
