Too jarring and loud to use in a small setting, but cuts through high volumes of noise like music festivals and raves great. Fun color and cheap price make this a great throw around tambourine for music festivals, which is what I got it for. I like my black one of the same brand with double rows for inside venues. The plastic on this is thinner than the other one also, so that affects the sound, too. Nice buy, happy with it

I've played various tambourines over the past few years. For a while I preferred brass jingles for most live small group instrumental work. But now I appreciate the nickel jingles here. Nickel does not always sound good but these work out just fine. Recommended.

My mother wanted me to purchase this as a gift for my aunt, but when it arrived it became abundantly clear that this is more of a kid's toy than an instrument you can use in any real way. That being said, it's still a nice toy to play with and gave me hours of "annoying my cat" entertainment until I passed this on to my little cousins. Good fun, but incredibly plastic and dinky.

I have always wanted a tambourine and we get lots of use when we have Karaoke parties. This is good quality, has great sound, and was a good price.

This was unbelievably inexpensive for what I got. I am very happy with this. There was a little confusion over the pic and comments others made about the color. The description said it was white, the pic is black. I received a black one but I am happy about that because I didn't really want it in white but the price was right. I am completely satisified with this product. I checked out others in a local music store and they were much more expensive and just about the same.

It seems durable and sounds good. Got it just to use in my band's rendition of Are You Gonna Be My Girl by JET, and it should be perfect.Only thing to keep in mind is that the item picture is misleading - this is WHITE, not BLACK. I didn't care, so it worked out great.
