Returned and ordered the “padded” version. The original was made of very thin plastic that we did not feel would survive the elements and constant handing. The padded version is terrific!

I loved the look of the grill cover, but it did not last long. We had it on our grill for about 2 weeks and there are already 2 ripped holes in it. It was thinner than noted and did not hold up to the weather. I wish I could get a refund!

This was meant for Father's day, it is basically a thicker picnic table cover.

Feared it may be too “fragile) but it seems to be standing up to the Florida sun.

I bought this as a gift and really felt bad giving it because the material is so thin that I bet it will tear/rip in a year or less, especially if it is subjected to any kind of weather conditions. I love the concept, just needed better materials.

It looks great and it's made it through 2 winters. It's patched with duct tape now, but I plan to buy another one!

i ordered this for fathers day and am excited to give it my husband. The prduct appears to be high quality and will look sharp on the brand new grill.

I bought the Detroit Tiger and the Michigan State grill cover for my two grills. I have a Holland grill and a standard grill. The covers fit both fine and can tighten slightly with velcro on the bottom, but even so they had trouble staying on during a couple of windy days. I noticed they were not extremely heavy duty, but was surprised that the Detroit one ripped about one month into the winter (I received these late November). By the end of February that one is probably beyond repair having been shredded by snow and ice. The Michigan State one is now also ripped. These would probably be fine to cover your grill with in the summer to protect it from dust, but I would look for something a little more heavy duty to protect it from rain and snow.
