This is a great safe. A lot of the negatives I’ve read say that it’s not sturdy enough, but it’s plenty sturdy for what it is. If you think you’re going to store a priceless gun like the one from Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels in this, then you might want to spring for something more expensive. However, this safe is great if you want to keep your guns secure from kids or houseguests, and it serves as an extra obstacle for thieves—yes, if given enough time they could get into it, eventually, but this safe will at least prevent a burglar from just stumbling across your guns. The other criticism is about the fingerprint reader. Yes, it has a harder time reading fingerprints if it’s dirty. Solution? Wipe it off every once in a while. There’s also a keypad and manual keys if you prefer to use those, and they work 100% of the time. I’d ignore all the dramatic comments about the fingerprint reader not working 100% on the first try ( lots of dramatic “your life may depend on it!” comments on here) and just realize that you have other options for opening it if it’s that big a deal. Frankly I keep this safe in the closet and another gun by my bed—I don’t see how jumping up and running to this safe in an emergency should be anyone’s plan in the first place. I have to say though, if the thing you’re worried about is that you’ll hear a noise in your house jump out of bed, run to the closet, only to get murdered just because your fingerprint didn’t read the first time (and you didn’t just use the keypad) then I guess it’s just your time to go.It’s solid, it’s a good price, it’s easy to set up, it can store 5-6 average size long guns (and if you reach out for the door organizer then several handguns as well) and has a neat extra lockbox for papers or ammo or the secret plans that reveal the one weakness of the Death Star. All this and it’s reasonably priced. Will it protect the Crown Jewels from master thieves? No, but you don’t own those anyway.

If anybody needs a secure safe to store some of your firearms, I suggest this product. Just got it last weekend, it only needs two people to carry it upstairs. The safe was well packaged and secured with Styrofoam and plastic covers at all pressure points. When I opened it, it just looks a little small to me. I like the fingerprint features, it is very sensitive to recognize your print on a first trial. I think its price is reasonable, it'll be better if the shipping cost can be lowered (I paid 39.99). I had to make a few adjustments inside the safe. I have placed my rifles on a large foam so their barrels can rest on the higher foams. I also ordered some LED light to install them on the inside of the door. The safe is very steady once I secured it to the wall using the tools the seller provided in the box. Since I have a little kid, this safe will keep him from ever gaining access to my firearms. I just hope the lock box can be a little bigger for ammo storage, but luckily I had another safe to store them.On the other hand, I think this safe can only deter somebody from gaining unauthorized access to it, a professional thief will find a way to pry it open from the back side. That's why it's critical to anchor it to your wall right away. It has worked out well for my needs so far, let's see how long it can survive the test of time. Overall, I will recommend it if you just need a simple but secure storage for your firearms and other valuables. I like their customer service, esp. Alan, who reached out to offer me a free organizer. I will use it for my pistols and other important documents.

If you want to add a layer of security, while still allowing for firearms to be readily available, this safe is a great option. The fingerprint opening was very easy to program and has worked every time for me, even when I attempt to turn my finger at weird angles to make it harder. My son has also tried to open it without his prints being added and couldn’t fool it.The push button keypad is a nice option too and I can almost open it just as fast with that. There is ample room for the 5 guns inside and it fits a mossberg 28” barrel shotgun with room to spare.Mine is bolted to the concrete floor and the wall stud, so they would have to be super determined to rip it out.It is sturdy enough, that is will definitely slow a thief down, or at least make him have to leave to go and get power tools. It is not air tight or fire rated, but you wouldn’t expect that for the price.Cons:- I’m not a fan of the foam pad in the back wall that the firearms slot into. The connection point is just a slot cut in the foam, so it moves around a fair bit, but If it bugs me that much in the long run, I’ll rig up something else.- The bolts provided are not the best and I found it hard to get them tight, so I went to the store and got some decent concrete bolts and apoxy and this thing is now rock solid.
