I dislike the material. The coat is made up a very cheap material and it appears to be made in China. It supposed to be a classy rain coat, instead it looks so cheap that I don't want to wear it.

Purchased for commuting to an evening event with rain in the forecast. It is waterproof (had to stand in rain for 30 min) my outfit was dry and fine underneath. Didn’t want anything bulky while at the event so this worked perfect.Like the length of the jacket, nice and long to cover. Big deep pockets for hands and quick garb items.Love the color. Standard tan/beige trench that goes with everything.It’s waterproof but there is no layers built in to keep warm but it is lined for water repelling so keep that in mind for seasonly wearing.The buttons add a cute detail but if you want to use the jacket for more everyday wear maybe reinforce the buttons.I sized up in this wanting to make sure it fit but it was not needed as it’s got flexible room for fit.

I love this trench coat! The color is lovely, the cut is nice, and it feels like it is well made for the price. It has a material that feels like it would stand up to the rain. It is not meant to be a winter coat, so it is light - probably best for Spring and Fall. It buttons up nicely but still looks nice and holds its shape if you wear it unbuttoned.

I ordered a couple of different coats for a late November trip to London. I tend to be a warm person so I was really looking for something to keep the wind of me more than warmth. Overall, this is a nice coat. I normally wear a 10/12 and I ordered an XL to allow room for layers underneath. I can definitely get layers underneath. It is roomy, pockets are deep and generous, although there are no inside pockets which I find disappointing in women’s coats. Men aren’t the only ones who like those. The length was good, I am 5’8 for reference. I did end up returning this one simply because the other one fit better and was more water resistant feeling than this one. If I wasn’t traveling in late November, I probably would have kept this one. The price point is good, it seemed well built. While I didn’t love the brown buttons, I could have easily changed them out. I would consider this a spring/summer weight coat. The black color was also good. It was a deep dark black with no greens or purples coming through. Just a good basic jet black coat. It did come wrinkled and I am not sure how those come out, how difficult it is to get rid of, or how it would faire being packed for so many hours.

The coat is decent quality for the price, however the medium was far too large. I would suggest you size down.

I am disappointed in the material. I wanted a plain trench coat, not a rain coat. However it's sort of stylish . I brought a 3x and was happy that this 3x actually fit ! I don't like the length either it said Long well it's not long enough. I need it do I will keep it, hope this help someone.

One of my biggest worries, when ordering clothing online, is getting something that is only similar to it's description; especially when "try before you buy" is not available. But this is one of those rare occaisions where the product actually exceeded expectations in some areas (the fit and length) while being exactly as advertised in other areas (material, color, etc.)The coat arrived in perfect time to put it to the test due to a high wind advisary and light rain on a day that my daughter (who this was purchased for) had to go to work (and on an electric bike no less). Splashback from the tires were easily cleaned off of the coat, the fit kept her clothing clean and dry, and the style goes perfectly with any uniform or everyday clothing. Neither her nor I can think of a single thing to complain about.
