I BOUGHT THIS CHAIN SO I COULD BUY A BIKE AND RIDE IT HOME. I installed the chain at the sellers house. I made sure the Flip was on the master properly and right direction. AND WHEN I GOT HOME THE CLIP WAS MISSING. I rode for 3 hours and this could have caused a disaster… DO NOT BUY THIS

Every person on here that had the chain popped off used the clip link fyi you don’t use clip links on street bikes you always use a rivet master link

DO NOT CHEAP OUT DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIN. I had this chain for about 200 miles on my fz. It snapped going 20. The point of failure was the master link like all the other reviews. Lucky the damage was just the chain. You may not be as lucky.

Recieved bare-metal chain, (can't remember if it was supposed to be gold?) everything else in order, came with a clip style master link.if youre putting this on a road or street bike, my advice to the wise, get the rivet style master link. I thought I'd be ok, having spent years offroad and never having an issue with a clip on master link, but after 300 miles i looked down to check it, and the clip had come off. only by luck did the outside not come off. cheers

Race bike. This chain lets me put on a new chain with each gear change or new rear tire. You do not need a sealed chain unless your plan is to run it multiple years. I like brand new and cheap! 180 hp Ducati 1098s. I still use the 525.

Plain roller chain. 2.3mm thick side plates, 5.2 mm pins. Pins swaged on 4 sides. Looks beefy. But time and miles will tell. Concerns, needs more lube, barely wet with greese. Made in Malaysia, always a disappointment when you are hoping for Japanese quality. If you can fit a X or O ring chain, buy that instead, but for some older machines, we all are stuck with plain chains and chain oil getting flinged all over.
