I put this stem on my Trek Madone 3.1 to provide a more upright riding position and to alleviate back pain.It was easy to install and fit perfectly, it looks to be good quality and well made. I can't attest to longevity as of yet. It's a nice upgrade for my riding comfort.

The (most likely) previous person who bought this did not put all of the screws back in. When I got it, it was missing 3 of the 6 screws. Definitely not acceptable.

Ordered this for my gravel bike. To raise the handlebar and decrease the reach for a more comfortable upright riding position. I'm not getting any younger and the lower back soreness and neck fatigue, required that I upgrade my bike.Decent build quality. Well finished in black and white lettering. Subtle. Affordable too. Recommended!

I'm not impressed with this stem. The sample I received is poorly finished. There is also a thin spot in the anodizing and a chip. Most stems use M6 fasteners to clamp the steerer tube while this one uses only M5. It was also shipped with dry threads. I've bought stems of this quality before to have for fitting and then I'll buy a more expensive stem once I'm sure of the size, but this one costs twice as much.

This stem fits exactly what I needed - to convert a road bike style townie to a single speed townie with better ergonomics. I used it in conjunction with some high-rise 760mm width bars and now the comfort of the bike is so much better and I'm not bent over like a pretzel for our casual rides to local breweries. My only gripe is it's not perfect and I didn't expect it to be, but I feel that they could have done a tad batter job on the handlebar mount finish. The cap had some high spots from powder coating that I smoothed out before installing so I wasn't denting my handlebar. It also has a floating style cap and not one that you tighten all the way flush on one side and gap the other, so you need to pay attention to alignment when torqueing down. Other than that, it fits the bill and I'm no longer scared to ride this bike because of the adjustable stem it came with!

I fixed up a used bike which included replacing the original quill stem and handlebars. I wanted a more upright riding position, so I paired this stem with an upright handlebar to add additional height. This was a great investment, even for an older bike, since it makes the bike more accessible and easier to ride. I did add a small bit of grease to the bolts while securing everything, for future maintenance, and everything has been holding together great.
