I got these postcard-sized pieces of watercolor paper to experiment with different watercolor painting techniques, and they absolutely fit the bill and are perfect for this application. Bonus points: the pieces really are the right size for postcards, so mail away!I only used traditional "pan" watercolor paints on this paper, so I can't vouch for how other mediums may work.I love that this is an economical way to try/fail before trying something on a larger/more expensive sheet of watercolor paper. This would also be awesome for use in a classroom.Very happy!

I'm very impressed with this water color paper. The texture is very high quality! See my photo for proof. The paper makes the water color paints really stand out. They are a bit small, but make excellent practice sheets, or just smaller paintings. I recommend these sheets!

This is a great size for casual painting or even for kids. The paper reacts as I would expect with watercolor paints. The only downside was that the manufacturer's packaging/bag is that sort of thin cellphane-like plastic. It split in transit in a bubble mailer. I don't need perfect corners for anything I'm going to do with these, so it will still work despite a few creases. However, if it becomes a more frequent problem, I hope they might look at different packaging strategies.

I ordered this pack of watercolour to use with students. While it probably isn't the paper I woudl purchase for myself, this has been goof with a small class. The size is good for working on technique without worrying about filling an entire 8x10 or larger sheet of watercolour, something many students struggle with. The paper takes watercolours well and dries without issue. It isn't too thin. At this price point, this is a good deal for students.

I like the thickness of this watercolor paper. the 140lb is my go to for many projects, and this brand worked well with small cards and pictures that I made. the multi-quantity pack is a nice plus. seems well taken to colors of inks I have used.

I prefer 100 percent cotton paper for my watercolor, but when experimenting or learning something new, that get's a tad expensive. This wood pulp paper arrived in nice condition, evenly cut, all with the painting side facing the same way (so I don't have to tilt the paper in the light to see which side to paint on). It absorbs water nicely, and dries evenly and quickly. I recommend this to new artists or anyone who just wants something to practice on.
