I've wanted some protection against scrapes to the bottom of my hard bags on my Road Glide since I tend to reach full lean angle on a lot of curves on that bike which is set up to be fairly sporty. These are a great solution and they extend far enough that they do indeed take the punishment if I over-lean and I'm sure they'd help if the bike went down, although I haven't had to test that, thankfully. Because the bottom is a wheel it doesn't dig in and grab the way bottoming out on other parts might cause to occur. I'd say it's even less "grabby" than when a floorboard scrapes in a strong lean. Now I can retouch the paint on the bottom of my bags and know it's likely to stay that way. Well made with good fit. Nicely welded, and powdercoat is very uniform and nice looking. These are good bars and i recommend them.

The kekykm Motorcycle Engine Guard has a great, husky top bar with replaceable sliders and alloy spacers in three different color options. There is a significant couple of drawbacks however.1) The lower struts are flat steel and that steel bends easily.2) The bar will not fit a Road Glide with fairing lowers, chin spoiler.Because the top mount is very sturdy, I modified the guard, cutting off the frame struts and using the top frame mount only. I like the minimalist look and use the bar as a mount for auxiliary lights and highway pegs.If I really want a rugged engine guard to protect in the event of a fall, I would have to go elsewhere, as in its original form, the lower frame mounts wouldn't hold up. They should be tube steel like the upper bar. In any event, the bar just won't fit with fairing lowers, and that for me is a non-starter.

I have never liked OEM highway bars/engine guards. They just look ugly. My Harley had low profile ones that were bearable, but I saw these on a bike in a magazine and loved the look. When I saw an opportunity to get them myself I jumped at the chance. I am SO glad I did, they look fantastic on my bike!The hardest part of replaceing the OEM engine guard with this was getting the factory torqued bolts off, lol. I had to use my impact gun to loosen them without stripping the bolt or my Allen wrenches. After that it was just 4 bolts and viola! your bike will look 10x better and you have 3 colors to choose from to accent your paint/theme.Pair these with the saddle bag guard crash bars for a really streamlined, sleek, tough look.

The bars are well made and sturdy. They feel solid and sturdy and the coating on them is nice and uniform with a nice gloss. Installation was easy and had it done in under an hour. They really pair well with the matching bag guards as well and give the bike a really good look. I'm really happy with how they turned out and glad that they add some protection to the bike while giving it a nice custom look.

This crash bar by Kekykm is a good quality bar in my opinion. It looks really good in black actually blending in especially in a more blacked out ride. The welds and powder coating look smooth without any blemishes or defects. Its an easy install and doesn’t take a lot of time to put in. Overall, I think it’s a nice crash bar and is pretty competitive to others that are similar.

My husband says this looks nice and fits well. He has an older model than this is advertised and it still works.
